Installations and Lighting
Original Field of Architecture transformed the iconic Dining Hall at Keble College, part of a Grade I listed complex and a masterpiece of 19th-century architect William Butterfield. Celebrated for its late Victorian Gothic style, the hall, with its restored timber panelling, brickwork, and stone features, is the centrepiece of college life. The new lighting design harmonised with this rich heritage, enhancing architectural significance and usability. Visual comfort was prioritised with balanced contrasts and vibrant colour rendering, while discreet fixtures complemented Butterfield’s intricate details.
Energy-efficient and intuitive, the scheme respects tradition while meeting modern needs. See archive for the kitchen project.
