As part of a comprehensive refurbishment of The Master’s Lodgings at University College basement storage rooms were converted into an exercise suite for the High St campus comprising a machines gym, free weights rooms and studio for yoga and movement classes. The approach was to reflect the dynamism of exercise within the interior design using a vibrant choice of colour with supergraphics indicating space use.
The original fabric was left in its raw state with new interventions lightly imposed on it.
