The Studio is the conversion and adaptive reuse of one of Oxford’s many light industrial buildings which can be found down side streets all over the city. The building is located between the busy thoroughfares of Cowley Road and St Clements down a narrow lane off Dawson Street, now a pedestrianised street with seating for the restaurants, cafes and delis making it a busy social hub.
The building, formerly empty and disused, is now a vibrant and lively discovery making a positive contribution to the public realm whilst retaining the language and materials of its industrial past.
